Before he released the visuals to ‘Abuja City’ directed by Swiss Mills, the track enjoyed massive airplay on radio channels, especially radio stations in Lagos and Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja. Several months later, Theophilus ‘Kemzy’ Ederaro dropped a follow-up to the Abuja anthem which centers on the city of Lagos as he had to meet the demands of Lagos fans and residents. Kemzy did not disappoint his fans as he proved his mettle as a hip hop maestro with his unique flow and delivery which suggest a very good knowledge of the Lagos metropolitan city, on the part of this Abuja-based independent artiste.
Expectedly, ‘Lagos City’ has become a major street anthem for Lagosians and lovers of the city. Kemzy has always had a knack for dropping serial hip hop hit tracks since 2011, when he released the aptly-titled ‘OAU Anthem’ in college as an undergraduate of Estate Management in the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University. The track shot him to limelight and made him the most sought after artiste on campus.
However, Kemzy’s long-overdue official ‘Lagos City’ video just dropped and it’s already going viral, directed by Swiss Mills and graded by Alvin Kline in Platinum Studio, New York.
